Lake Jackson Mounds Archaeological State Park Cache
This cache is a good lunch time cache due to there being a picnic table, and 2 walking trails nearby. The trails are a great way to excercise even in tennis shoes. There is a water fountain, and restrooms. Typically there aren't many people there (usually between 1 & 5) which makes it a peaceful and quaint place to get away from the city while not being an inconvenient drive.
Park is open from sun-up to sun-down. There is a good-faith usage fee of $3-5. Please pay so others and yourself can enjoy the park in the future.
I found this old ammo box in an abandoned house. It has served its purpose for the military, now it serves its purpose to Geocachers like you.
Great find for a Saturday afternoon lunch. Find the cache, walk the trail, eat lunch and continue geocaching!
